Fortresses is a multiplayer game of strategy and diplomacy in the spirit of Bruno Faidutti's classic board game Citadels. Take on different medieval roles as you compete against up to 7 other players to quickly build the most magnificent city.

Fortresses requires Java 1.5 or greater to compile.

• The software is not yet mature enough for a public release. The current development version is fortresses-server-0.0.1 which can be found in CVS.

No client yet. I just use telnet to connect (use port 18843). To authenticate, send the string
    connect fortresses 0 0 1 <playername>
(where <playername> is replaced with the player name you want). Then send the string

for more options.
